Scott Overholser is a man who is unafraid of change and the promotion of change. He can pinpoint a flaw in an organization and work hard until he is able to correct that flaw. Scott Overholser developed and implemented a business plan which involved increasing both dentists and auxiliary staff in conjunction with an increase in overall office size. This business plan was  directly targeted to growth which paralleled an increase in patient population. In its first year, his plan was able to increase the facility’s revenue by 30%.

Scott Overholser was also able to modernize the processes used when assessing patients who are in need for surgical dentistry. This helped a great deal in the case by case decision to better discern if the patient can be treated in house, or would need to be referred to an outside specialist. If the patient needed to be referred, this process followed through with each patient so that they would not get ‘lost in the shuffle.’ This resulted in a 30% higher acceptance rate, which allowed a higher percentage of patients to receive the care they required.
